Etnies proudly presents A Tale of Two Cities III“. For the third „A Tale of Two Cities“ etnies combines the youngest and oldest rider on the team, in the likes of „vert dog“ Juergen Horrwarth and „wonderkid“ Axel Cruysberghs. For this first part we hit southern Germany, to get a taste of what it´s like to be Juergen Horrwarth and where the Pretzel inspiration comes from for his TOTC shoe. According to the legend a baker from the Metzingen region came up with the idea of the weird bread shape back in mediaeval times. Must be a big deal, because Juergen has a tattoo of his family crest that includes a Pretzel! In this first edit you see Juergen and Axel kill it in and around Juergens hometown. Metzingen doesn´t have a lot of skateable terrain, but they clearly managed to nail a banging edit. See Axel and Juergen hit the local Metzingen park, a concrete park in Stuttgart and some epic spots including a recently discovered and cleaned up ditch.
They never quite found the exact spot where the Pretzel was invented, because a lot of time was wasted on skateboarding so lean back and check this first part
