Heute Nacht ab 2.15 / 3.00 Uhr startet wieder der kostenlose DC Street League Livestream aus Kansas City mit dem Semi- und dem Finale. Für das Finale haben sich gestern Nyjah Huston (siehe Foto oben, Video unten), Sean Malto, Ryan Sheckler, Chaz Ortiz, Mikey Taylor und Paul Rodriguez direkt qualifiziert.
Zwei weitere Fahrer haben heute noch mal die Gelegenheit, einen Platz im Finale zu erfahren. Qualifiziert haben sich für das Semi-Finale Luan Oliveira, Austyn Gillette, Chris Cole, Bastien Salabanzi, Tommy Sandoval und Billy Marks!

STOP 1 QUALIFYING RESULTS – FINALS LIVE TOMORROW ON ESPN2 9PM ET
Nyjah Huston, Sean Malto, Ryan Sheckler, Chaz Ortiz, Mikey Taylor & Paul Rodriguez Advanced directly into Stop One Finals – TWO MORE WILL ADVANCE FROM TOMORROW’S SEMI-FINALS
Kansas City, Missouri (May 18, 2012) – The results are in from an intense qualifying day for the first stop of the 2012 Street League DC Pro Tour Fueled by Monster Energy (SLS) at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.
After an amazing day of Qualifying for the first stop of Street League 2012 in Kansas City, MO none other than Nyjah Huston has qualified in the top spot. Rounding out the top 6 who will be guaranteed a spot in the Finals tomorrow are Kansas City’s own Sean Malto, followed by Ryan Sheckler, Chaz Ortiz, Mikey Taylor & Paul Rodriguez. The skaters that are ranked in positions 6 thru 12 will compete in tomorrow’s Semi-Finals. They are Luan Oliveira, Austyn Gillette, Chris Cole, Bastien Salabanzi, Tommy Sandoval & Billy Marks.
Highlights of the day include Sean Malto’s Backside Nose Grind Nollie Flip followed by an Ollie over Frontside Crooks Shove-It out in the Line Section which brought the Kansas City crowd to it’s feet early in the day. Nyjah Huston also had the highest scored line of the day with 8.2 score with a Big Spin Frontside Boardslide to close his line out. The two highest tricks of the day were Austyn Gillette’s Alley-oop Backside Flip over the Big Section Rail for an 8.1 and Nyjah Huston’s amazing first try Kick Flip Backside Nose Blunt Slide down the Big Section Rail for an 8.9.
The Street League pros that finished from 7th to 12th will have one last shot to qualify in the semi-finals tomorrow at 8PM ET live on streetleague.com. Stop One Finals in Kansas City will broadcast LIVE on ESPN2 Sunday, May 19th at 9PM ET. For more information please visit www.streetleague.com.
Street League’s $1.6 million purse is the largest in skateboarding history and almost double the combined winnings for all other skate contests. Nearly $400,000 will be awarded at the next stop in Ontario, CA at the Citizens Business Bank Arena on July 15 – 16 with the SLS tour culminating in a winner-takes-all Championship in Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center on August 26. The SLS Championship will feature the winners of the first three stops of the 2012 tour along with the remaining top eight qualifiers who will compete for $200,000 as well as the title of Street League Champion.
